It started with one Fruitland Primary teacher who wanted to have all of her second-grade students start the school year with the gift of a book. New FPS Principal Lisa Forbush decided to see if the community would support the school by donating enough books or funds so that all 480+ students could start the school year with a book. Together the school and community are proving that "Kindness Matters, Reading Counts."
