What is Beyond the Limit?

Beyond the Limits has roots in the Outward Bound model developed by Kurt Hahn, experiential learning advocated by educational philosopher, John Dewey, and the Project Adventure model. Beyond the Limits is an adventure education program that utilizes the experiential learning process. Beyond the Limits is an adventure education program utilizing a challenge ropes course and classroom experiential activities. Beyond the Limits is owned and operated by the Wicomico County Board of Education located in Salisbury, Maryland on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. Collaboration exists between the Wicomico Board of Education and Salisbury University. Beyond the Limits Challenge Course is located behind Mardela Springs Middle & High School in Mardela Springs, MD.
