We hope that you will join us for the school system’s “Big Plans Night” on Tuesday, March 14^th at James M. Bennett High School from 5:30 -7:30 p.m.  At this event, you will have the opportunity to plan for NOW, plan for the SUMMER and plan for the FUTURE. Valuable information and resources will be available for all age groups.

• Plan for NOW by visiting our Community Connections Hall, where community agencies and organizations will provide information about services and resources they offer families.

• Plan for the SUMMER by visiting the Summer Engagement Expo in the cafeteria to talk to many of the community organizations and agencies offering summer activities. Stop by each table to pick up brochures and ask questions about what they will be offering. There will be something here for all grade levels.        

• Plan for the FUTURE at the College Fair. Middle and high school families are invited to attend the College Fair to learn more about the college admissions process, information about academic programs, student life, athletics, and fine & performing arts. Information will also be available about the Career and Technical Education and Visual & Performing Arts programs in Wicomico Schools, high school scheduling, AP classes, dual enrollment and graduation requirements. To make the evening flow easier, students and parents are welcome to register for the College Fair by visiting www.StriveFair.com. After registering, an email with a barcode will be sent to you for college admissions counselors to scan that night. This will allow you to receive more information about colleges of interest from the College Fair. StriveScan registration will also be available on the night of the event.

Parking is available at either entrance off College Avenue, in the parking lot near the auditorium or in front of the main building.

Bennett de 5:30 p. m. a 7:30 p. m. En este evento, tendrá la oportunidad de planificar para AHORA, planificar para el VERANO y planificar para el FUTURO. Habrá Información y recursos valiosos disponibles para todas las edades.     

• Planifique AHORA visitando nuestro Pasillo Conexiones Comunitarias, donde las agencias y organizaciones de la comunidad brindarán información sobre los servicios y recursos que ofrecen a las familias.

• Planifique para el VERANO visitando la cafetería para ver la Expo Participación en el Verano para hablar con muchas de las organizaciones y agencias comunitarias que ofrecen actividades de verano. Pase por cada mesa para recoger folletos y hacer preguntas sobre lo que ofrecerán. Habrá algo aquí para todos los grados.                  

• Plan para el FUTURO en la Feria Universitaria. Las familias de escuelas intermedias y preparatorias están invitadas a asistir a la Feria Universitaria para obtener más información sobre el proceso de admisión a la universidad, información sobre programas académicos, vida estudiantil, deportes y bellas artes y artes escénicas. También habrá información disponible sobre los programas de educación técnica y profesional y de artes visuales y escénicas en las escuelas de Wicomico, creación de horarios de clases en la preparatoria, las clases de colocación avanzada o AP, la inscripción doble y los requisitos de graduación. Para facilitar el flujo de la noche, los estudiantes y los padres pueden registrarse para la Feria Universitaria visitando www.StriveFair.com . Después de registrarse, se le enviará un correo electrónico con un código de barras para que los consejeros de admisiones universitarias lo escaneen esa noche. Esto le permitirá recibir más información sobre las universidades de su interés de la Feria Universitaria. El registro de StriveScan también estará disponible la noche del evento.
