Parent Message 10-27
Good evening Clippers. This is Principal Savage with your weekly message.
Homecoming week was a huge success and I think the students had good time making memories. A special shout out to Mr. Davis, our SGA Advisor and the SGA students who organized the entire Homecoming week. Thank you also to all the staff and parents who volunteered to help ensure students had a safe and enjoyable time. It took a lot of time and effort, but it was all worth it to see students smiling and having fun.
Our band had their Atlantic Coast Championships today in Hershey, PA. The rain stopped shortly before they performed, and Mr. Miles said the students did a great job.
Play off season has arrived for our fall sports and just after the pep rally on Friday both our Girls and Boys soccer teams had a playoff game here at JMB. Unfortunately, the girls lost their game, but the boys won and will advance to play Decatur at Decatur on Tuesday at 5. Both golf and field hockey are away tomorrow. Volleyball will play the Bayside Championship Game on Tuesday in Easton. We are organizing a Spirit Bus for students for the volleyball game. Please see the information attached for more details about the spirit bus. On Wednesday of this week the JV football team will play Wihi here at the shipyard and Varsity will play at the County Stadium on Friday.
Let’s continue to cheer on our fall teams as we also get ready for winter sports. Attached is the information needed get those physicals and to register your student for winter sports.
